About Me

My name is Megan Geer-Alsop and I am so glad you are here.

A little bit about me…

​

I grew up in the beautiful Topanga Canyon mountains, in a family of actors and musicians.  I spent many of my young years acting at my family’s outdoor Shakespeare theatre, but ended up finding my artistic niche as a visual artist. 

​

I have worked in many facets of the art world from costume and set design, carpentry and woodworking to ceramics, figure sculpture and stained glass. I even spent a few years going to workshops and learning about natural earth building.

​

​Because I have worked in such a wide range of media, I love  to design for both indoor and outdoor spaces.  My art can be found in all styles of homes from the most modern to traditional.

 

When doing commissions I work directly with business or home owners, architects and interior designers to help create unique works of art that compliment the aesthetic of the space.
